class ptiming_ana.phaseogram.ReadtxtFile(file, format_txt)

Bases: object

Reader of events stored in a text file with space-separated columns.

Parameters:

filestr

Path to the text file (no header).

format_txtstr or list of str

Content of each column: t (MJD time), p (phase), e (energy), g (gammaness), a (alpha), t2 (theta2) and at (telescope altitude). It can be given as a list (["t", "p", "e"]), as a space- or comma-separated string ("t p e t2") or, if only single-character codes are used, as a plain string ("tpe"). Times and phases are mandatory.
